SBV6220 Diagnostic Premod DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

The SBV6220 is the "big brother" of the SB6120. It is Motorola's DOCSIS 3.0 eMTA plus cable modem combo (VoIP phone jacks). The VoIP functionality is disabled in the diagnostic firmware so the phone jacks cannot be used. SBHacker may release a diagnostic firmware in the future with the VoIP enabled. This modem has 64mb RAM and a 16mb flash chip whereas the SB6120 and most other puma5 modems only have 32mb RAM and 8mb flash. The Cisco DPC3000 also has 64mb RAM and 16mb flash. The puma5 CPU has 4x4 channel bonding capabilities. All D3 modems will work on both DOCSIS and euroDOCSIS networks thanks to the new "worldwide mode" functionality - all D3 modems have dual BPI+ certificates.
This diagnostic DOCSIS 3.0 modem is flashed with a noisy bootloader and the latest SBH Alpha 1.1 firmware from SBHacker. You can order it with a Breakout Elite or SPI breakout board installed. The SPI-only breakout board gives you the ability to flash the modem without opening it or soldering anything (compatible with Haxomatic and USBJTAG NT). Modems with Breakout Elites have serial ports and modems shipped with SPI breakouts do NOT have serial ports (different PCB revisions).
This modem is only for serious and experienced DOCSIS enthusiasts and those interested in contributing more to SBH's current embedded firmware project. This modem will make it easy to quickly upgrade to future test builds without opening the modem or soldering anything. IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH USING A LINUX/BUSYBOX COMMAND LINE, YOU SHOULD NOT ORDER THIS MODEM. DO NOT CONNECT THIS MODEM TO YOUR CABLE LINE OR SCREW AROUND WITH IT BEFORE READING THE FIRMWARE TUTORIALS ON SBHACKER AND DISABLING FIRMWARE UPDATES!
All customers should check to ensure that DOCSIS 3.0 service is available in your area. You need DOCSIS 3.0 service in order to realize the full potential of this modem.
All of our DOCSIS 3.0 premods are either brand new or like new units in EXCELLENT condition in Motorola boxes. All of the modems are modified by an expert technician and thoroughly tested to ensure the highest quality.

***We do not have international power supplies for this modem so if you live outside of North America you will need an adapter for the 120v power supply to work in your country***
